Based on the above statement, you can say its not exact science. This method of pregnancy calculation assumes you would have ovulated exactly 14 days after your period started and the fertilization also took place on the exact date.

There are few other methods also that are used for pregnancy calculation. But the one mentioned above is widely accepted by the medical practitioners throughout the world.
