Within 38 weeks of conception baby grows around 51 cm in length. The growing body now seems more in proportion with the baby's head. In earlier stages of pregnancy baby's head is comparably larger than the body. A rapid development of lungs is prominent.
Its movement is stronger and more coordinated. The baby spends most of its time in sleep. At end of this stage of pregnancy the hormones secreted by the baby triggers the labor.
